Tracked cleanup tasks, structural decisions, and content gaps across the Western Horizon vault.

Vault Cleanup

  • Delete Notes/References/Player Expectations Draft.md — now a redirect stub, can be deleted
  • Delete cleanup.sh from vault root — script has been run, no longer needed

Content Gaps — Sections

  • 07 - Session Zero — Palette, Guild Charter, and Starting Era procedures all pending
  • 03 - Factions — Sub-files needed: Paradigms & Relationships, Goals & Clocks, Power & Seat
  • 08 - Sessions — Running Sessions, Recording, and Post-Session sub-files all pending
  • 09 - Wiki — Structure, Entry Templates, Update Workflow, Claude Integration all pending
  • 10 - Appendices/Quick Reference — Blocked until procedures above are complete enough to summarize
  • 10 - Appendices/Oracle Tables — Tables to be extracted and unified from source system notes

These source system notes are stub-level and need full processing. Use _Prompt for the Claude processing workflow — attach OVERVIEW.md + _Template + the relevant PDF:

Content Gaps — Pandemonium Engine

  • Layer node/edge formalization — All six layer Overview files have (To be formalized) sections for node types, edge types, and adjacency rules
  • Stories as Hyperedges open questions — Four implementation questions at the bottom of that file remain unresolved (storage, max arity, regeneration interaction, story merging)
  • Engine-to-Sections verification — Do a pass to confirm every Pandemonium Engine concept links to its procedural counterpart in Sections and vice versa

Structural Decisions

  • Player Expectations Draft — Full 14KB working draft lives in 07 - Session Zero/ alongside the polished Player Guide. Decide: keep as long-form reference, split into sub-files, or consolidate into Player Guide
  • The Shadow Map — Original blog post still in Pandemonium Engine/00 - Overview/. Now that it’s been split into individual files, decide whether to keep it as the canonical “full article” view or retire it
  • Chronicle vs Microscope Explorer — Notes/Chronicle.md appears to reference a system that may be the same as Microscope Explorer under a different name. Confirm and reconcile
  • 03 - Factions sub-files — Paradigms & Relationships, Goals & Clocks, and Power & Seat files are listed in the Overview but don’t exist yet. Create these before the Factions section can be considered complete.
